Activities track any type of metric you desire. For example, a completed activity can track a unit of time (1 hour of volunteering), money (either donated, raised), or any other user defined unit (pages read, trees planted, apples eaten, problems solved, random acts of kindness, etc.)

Youtopia allows you to manage exactly how to award your students. As a manager, you create activities, decide how many points are awarded when it’s completed, how many times that activity can be completed, and by how many students. All activities require you (or someone you designate) to confirm they’ve been completed.

Managers have the power to reject, or confirm a student’s activities, as well as the ability to add comments and notes for the activity in question.

Badges are awards that are given after a student completes an activity. Customize your badges by choosing how and when a badge is awarded. It can be for completing an activity a certain number of times, or after a student earns a certain number of points, or a badge can simply be awarded by a manager whenever they want.
